The Cowley County Conservation District excels at providing educational and informational programs to hundreds of youth and adults in the county every year. These range from workshops, field days, newsletters, school visits, and social media posts.

Annual Poster Contest
Every year, the Cowley County Conservation District, in cooperation with the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts and the National Association of Conservation Districts, hosts a Poster and Limerick contest, open to students, grades K-12, who reside in or attend school in Cowley County. First-place posters in each category are automatically submitted to the statewide contest, along with first and second place limericks. State contest winners are entered in the national contest.
